Important Pop-Tart update
Despite the fact no one will be able to find our blog from now on, I thought I should issue a very important update about the state of Pop-Tarts at The Dallas Morning News. The third floor vending machine at the back of the building is void of all Pop-Tarts. There aren’t even any Apple Strudel ones.
No, Famous Amos chocolate chip cookies have shown up in the coveted Tart-zone. I feel as if the vending machine company just gave up on us. No one bought the nasty Pop-Tarts, so they took them all away!
We just want the strawberry ones, really.
On a healthier, happier note: The cafeteria has recently started selling Stacy’s Pita Chips. I love the parmesan garlic and herb flavored ones. This is a new addition to the food line-up I appreciate around here.

Ok, so while we spent six weeks trying to outrun the weird weather in the mid-west, or being happy to be behind it, (We missed the flooding in Kansas, tornado in North Dakota. And, you must know that K-State is absolutely gorgeous!) you have been complaining about pop-tarts. Well...apple strudel is just a nasty idea doe Pop-Tarts, but the brown sugar ones are fantastic. When you return home, how about a box of frosted strawberry Pop-Tarts, and you can talk to my kiddies. (I did tell them you are my favorite female journalist, not that I have a favorite male journalist [I do like to watch Walt Gray and Brian Hickey on KCRA.])
It's Friday, and I need to write my lesson plans for next week. So while you just work, work, and work, remember, others of us are just as crazy, and work way too much too. It must be a serious condition. Probably no a cure! Have a safe trip home end of the month!
