Best Interview of My Life...So Far!

"Grampa, when I grow up can be interviewed by Go-to-Guy?" (MGM)
I felt the need to paraphrase Homer (Simpson, that is) because today was honestly the best interview I've ever had up until now. I've interviewed students, teachers, peers, composers, and rappers, but today I got the pleasure of interviewing Mr. Fred Savage. Yep, him. The kid from the Wonder Years. And Princess Bride. Turns out he's very much into directing nowadays (everything from Hannah Montana to It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia to his upcoming feature debut Daddy Day Camp--look for a review from me next Wednesday), and he's one incredibly nice guy. Other than getting a little lost in the West Village (where the interview took place), this is shaping up to be a fantastic day. And as you may or may not know, I sure needed one. Look for my interview with him next Friday, one day after my internship ends. :(

oh, the end of this experience is so sad, but it's nice to look back on this summer and know it was spent well. and that is SO freaking cool that you interviewed him:).

Two summers ago, when I worked in Denton, I interviewed Pauly Shore. He was so odd and it was easily the weirdest interview I've done. He ended the interview by saying, "Tell all your gay friends I said hi."

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia remains the funniest show on television, despite the fact it is associated with Fred Savage.
That alone speaks to the show's quality.

Matt--
I remember how sad I was when I heard the movie "Pauly Shore is Dead" was, in fact, not true. How he ever got more than one movie made is beyond me. Sir Shore has one distinction though: the cinematic masterpiece known as "Bio-Dome" has an average of 1 out of 100 on Metacritic. Congratulations, Pauly. Tell all your unemployed friends I said "Hi."
