What are people working on?
For no reason at all, I'm burning to build rapport. But not yet. I'm more curious what some of the other temps are working on (without giving anything away). In the enterprise department, I'm working on a feature about hearing loss with a twist and a profile of a comedian. And discovering what's on Steve Blow's desk.

ummmmm rule no. 1 of enterprise... don't tell the world what you are working on . . . and what's a piece of lemon or lime got to do with hearing loss anyway?

Man, interns these days get all the perks. First, you don't have to live in some scuzzy apartment. Now you get your own blog. Back in my day, I would have already filed 3 crime stories and 9 briefs. And Grand Prairie was uphill both ways.

Forget the desk. Find out what the man's got going on in his head.

I wanted to ask what was going on in his head. I wanted to go out and send back a folder full of crime stories and briefs. I was too busy waxing the Corvettes they gave me - all the interns get one now. But don't worry, they aren't convertibles.

Wait, where does DMN put its interns now? And that's convertibles, kid, as your copy editing interns should be able to tell you. I hope they get to blog, too.
