The tigers didn't maul me

I know I said two days ago that if you didn't see a post yesterday afternoon about my trip to the Dallas Zoo tiger exhibit, it probably meant I was killed by the tigers. Well, no worries, I'm here today, and I'm not missing any extremities.
And here are some things I learned from the Dallas Zoo:
1) Tigers are even more beautiful when you're two feet from them.
2) You can't outrun a tiger.
3) Tigers' tails are somewhat greasy, coarse and occasionally have urine on them.
4) Don't tease tigers when they are hungry
After the Dallas Zoo, I went to the American Airlines flight attendant training center in Fort Worth. For a few hours Tuesday afternoon, I was a flight attendant. I learned how to evacuate passengers, open plane doors and jump down an airplane slide. Lots of fun, and now I have great respect for flight attendants. Trust me, they do a lot more than just serve drinks and pass out pretzels. Here is a touching video that sums up my respect for flight attendants (put to the music of Aerosmith's "I don't wanna miss a thing"). I also have great respect for flight attendants because my mom was one. (pictured right)
