Some intern work
For those loyal Internal Affairs readers, I thought it might be nice to display some of the work we are doing.
Derek Kravitz has an interesting story on today's front page about a desperado paleontologist:
SEYMOUR, Texas – Robert T. Bakker picks out a 275 million-year-old tooth from the red-colored dirt on this massive northwest Texas ranch, examines it with a trained eye and promptly sticks it in his mouth.
"It feels like silt mixed with peanut butter," says Dr. Bakker, as he tastes the tooth from a Dimetrodon, a 500-pound, finned reptile that predated dinosaurs. "It has a smooth, creamy texture from the clays."
I had a story that ran yesterday, Father’s Day.
Comments
I'm sure all the teeth from a non-existent period of time are delicious. {end grandstanding} Both these stories are great, guys. My "Ghost Rider" review should be online tomorrow.
