RE: Interns on Fire

Here are links to the work mentioned in Josh’s post. Saturday, Matthew (Cold-hearted) Haag had a byline on the front page of the Metro section. A peace activist was found shot dead in his truck along the side of a dark highway. His brother – who was trying to open a gun a range – was arrested and charged.

Tara Cuslidge had what Josh appropriately deemed a “dominant spread” in the GuideLive section. Her multimedia online is also amazing. She tells the story of the cast and crew of Spamalot as they set up for the Dallas run.

Derek and I both had stories on the front page of Sunday’s paper. Derek wrote a great story about the victims of the Gainesville floods left with nothing but ruins. I wrote about what it’s like for classical musicians to lose their hearing, and a doctor fighting to raise awareness.

Enjoy.

My contribution to "The Changer" (Straylight Run's new CD) also ran on Sunday, but alas there is no link. Yet.

When I started my masters at Berkeley in 2005, we were told by the orientation woman to pat ourselves on the back. She warned that it was only effective if done at random intervals after long projects or amazing accomplishments. I think we should all pat ourselves on the back. Really. Great job everyone.

Maybe "on fire" is a bad term to use, considering the building has been consumed in smoke from a nearby fire for the last little while...
