Internal Affairs

So I'm about 30 minutes away from my first big meeting of my first day, which means the day's almost over for me (the time really did fly by). I was so nervous because I was about 5 minutes late (there was some train schedule mix-up--apparently the train stops running every 10 minutes after 9am, a few minutes after I arrived), but everything was fine. I got to learn where everything was, meet lots of new people, learn how to deal with those who are less easy to get along with, and sit in on a havoc-filled blog chat about "The Sopranos." My manager/overseer/editor-type person Holly took me out to lunch (which was very nice) and got to know Shannon, Christy, and Bridgette better. I went down to HR afterwards to complete my paperwork and the first question was, surprisingly, "Have you gotten a goodie bag yet?" By my count, I've received three goodie bags so far (including one today from GuideLive), which makes me wonder, did people who work here full-time ever get anything this nice? Even sans goodie bags, I'm already starting to love it here.
