Impact of interning
I was published for the first time on Friday. It wasn't a big story, more a blurb than anything, but my name was in that paper.
I picked up 6 copies of QUICK. My dad picked up 4. I pinned up one copy on the bulletin board at my other job (Oakley at NorthPark, woot woot!), sent copies to the family, and even autographed one for my best friend.
Sure, it seems a little extreme. But for a 17-year-old, small-town girl, it's the best thing EVER.
...And it's only the beginning.
