I am filling in for Ross at tonight and tomorrow's Ranger games in an effort to be the first interview of the fan who catches Sosa's next home run. The way he was swinging it last night, it shouldn't take too long, but expect a few strike-outs on the way. On a side note, this picture and the Randy Johnson+Fastball+Dove=Tragedy video are my favorite baseball media ever.

I have been looking at all different angles for this story, and from the ballhawks who obsess over catching foul balls and home runs, to the appraisers of baseball collectibles (who I won't link yet, because I intend to do a follow up with him), Katie Fairbank had it right yesterday. Baseball fans are the most nerdy, obsessive fans of all.

Katie has never been to a sci-fi convention.

Also, for those awaiting the pictures and info on our interns, we were forced to postpone due to a large number of reporters on assignment. Hopefully tomorrow morning.
