Find someone who looks like a Republican!
So today's Brown Bag on breaking news was probably the most informative yet. Having never had a story (even in my high school days) where a source turned me away, the "stick to it" stuff seemed fresh, and hearing the extremes some people went to while out in the field to get the story in first (like calling AT&T to pipe in a phone line directly to their laptops--back in 1995 even!) makes me want to be that dedicated to any story, whether it's something big and national or interviewing a composer of video game music (which will happen at 4pm today). Suddenly, I feel inspired. Let's roll.
