Eerily Quiet
I'm glad Josh's recent post just broke the day-long silence on Internal Affairs. Between entries and comments, things had gotten a little too quiet on the western front.
A collection of interns just finished up our Brown Bag Luncheon about career advice and tips, complete with stories about an assistant Metro editor's severe distaste for snow helping make his career moves.
As for me, I'm back at the desk, where I have a few tasks for this afternoon:
- Tracking down an 85-year-old golfer who shot his age for a "Good Sports" feature
- Checking results for the two area boxers remaining at the U.S. Championships in Colorado Springs
- Beginning work for the High School Football preview
So, I hate to steal a line from little league coaches everywhere, but let's hear some chatter out there!
