Don't hate, appreciate!

Top 5 Reasons Being an Intern/Journalist Rocks: (according to Trish)

1. We are allowed to ask whatever we want (basically), whenever we want, and then publish it. It's like gossip only it's fact.

2. We're allowed to be nerdy and watch the news and know what's going on and when our friends laugh at us we just say, "Uh, do you work for The Dallas Morning News? Didn't think so..."

3. People envy our wittiness. Come on, you know journalists are probably the coolest, funniest people on the face of the Earth. Just read the blogs.

4. Some people hate us. Some people love us. All people need us.

5. News is never boring. There's always something new.

Telling the cop who's pulled you over for speeding that you're on the job and high rates of speed are necessary.
Then getting a ticket anyway.
