Blogless Friday
Notice the lack of blogging today?
I’m sure it’s because the interns are swamped with stories.
I, too, am working on a couple things right now. However, I feel an obligation to the Dallas community – as well as my family and friends – to show some signs of life before the weekend.
Speaking of the weekend, I’m thinking of checking out The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza. I wasn’t even born when President John F. Kennedy was assassinated. I remember my mom once recounting to me the exact place she was when it happened. Since it will be the end of my first official week as the lifestyles intern, I figured I’d better get a little more keen on the city’s history.
It’s also been recommended that I check out the malls. The lifestyles folks are a mighty connected group who have informed me of several other hot spots to check out as well.
I’m sure I’ll find a strange mix of something fun for this weekend.
